Your responsibilities
- Model client business constraints and ensure solution compatibility with existing systems.
- Develop and integrate complex resolution algorithms using industry-leading solvers (OR-Tools, CPLEX, Gurobi).
- Ensure modular software architecture by applying advanced design patterns.
- Maintain solver data infrastructure, from raw data transformation through to solution interpretation.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues in development and production environments.
- Write and maintain automated validation protocols and technical documentation.
- Mentor and coordinate junior developers on modelling and development best practices.
- Stay current on operational research advancements and integrate new approaches into client mandates.
Your profile
- Education: Master's degree in computer engineering, mathematics, operational research, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy), Docker, Sentry and FastAPI.
- Expertise with optimization libraries (OR-Tools, Gurobi, CPLEX) and meta-heuristic algorithms.
- Proficiency with a major cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Asset: Proven experience deploying data pipelines in production (ETL).
- Asset: Hands-on experience deploying optimization engines in production (Solver-as-a-Service).
